Level

Pyramid level Bilinear when upsampling

Auto picks the coarsest level whose pixel is no bigger than 1.5 screen pixels, then the best internal overview inside each COG. Pinning reads one level at its native pixel size at every zoom (nearest neighbour, so you see its real pixels); click a row in the pyramid to pin or unpin it.

Graticule Tile boundaries Boundaries for Boundary colour

Follow LOD redraws the boundaries of whatever level and overview is being read as you zoom; Fixed keeps one level's files or blocks on screen at every zoom.

Each row is one settled view. The point: a view of the whole continent costs about the same as a view of one valley.
